Oxo intermediates and derivatives producer Oxea (Dallas, Texas / USA; www.oxea-chemicals.com) has a new man at its helm. After the company’s board decided to implement a new management structure, Salim Al Huthaili was appointed CEO on 13 May. At the same time, Martina Flöel, who served as speaker of the executive board comprised of three managing directors, will leave the company.
Al Huthaili first joined Oxea in 2015, when he became chairman of the supervisory board. He previously worked at Oman Oil (OOC, Muscat / Oman; www.oman-oil.com), the company that acquired the oxo materials producer in 2013 (see Plasteurope.com of 14.10.2013). Prior to that, his career also included various roles at Shell.
