Acquisition of Spain's Adequa still not complete

The takeover of PVC sewage pipe systems manufacturer Adequa (Alovera / Spain; https://adequa.es) by Germany’s Ostendorf Kunststoffe (Vechta; www.ostendorf-kunststoffe.com) – see Plasteurope.com of 02.07.2019 – has not yet closed. Due to “ongoing discussions” between the potential seller, Coemac (Madrid / Spain; http://coemac.com), and Adequa’s creditors, the transaction has not been completed, Ostendorf said. The German company's strategy to grow internationally remains unchanged.
Ostendorf produces plastic pipes made of PP, PVC and PE for the waste water systems. The company operates three plants in Germany and has additional production sites in the Czech Republic, Poland and Russia.
