Italy's Tecnimont charged with realisation of new PP and PE lines in India's Dahej Special Economic Zone
India’s state-owned ONGC Petro additions Limited (OPaL, Dehradun / India; www.ongcindia.com) is a step closer to realising its plans for a new petrochemical complex in the country’s Dahej Special Economic Zone – see Plasteurope.com of 12.02.2010. On 13 June, Italian engineering group Tecnimont (Milan; www.mairetecnimont.it) announced that it had been tasked with the realisation of a 340,000 t/y PP and two 360,000 t/y HD/LLD swing plants at the site. The two contracts are worth USD 440m.
