OLIVER
New name for merged US medical packaging giant
The May 2016 merger of two US medical packaging companies – Oliver-Tolas Healthcare Packaging and Mangar Medical Packaging – has created a new medical device and pharmaceutical packaging group called Oliver Healthcare Packaging (Grand Rapids, Michigan / USA; www.oliverhcp.com). The new name has already taken effect, and a company-wide implementation is set to follow in the coming weeks.

With manufacturing facilities at its HQ in Grand Rapids as well as in Feasterville, Pennsylvania and Hamilton, Ohio / USA, Venray / The Netherlands and Suzhou / China, Oliver offers innovative adhesive technologies and packaging solutions, including lids, pouches, barrier packaging, forming films and heat seal adhesives, among others. Among the materials used in its product portfolio are DuPont's "Tyvek" flashspun HDPE fibres, as well as Oliver's proprietary "Ovantex" breathable synthetic fibre-based substrate.
