Expansion of Romanian plant / Additional production and logistics halls to set the course for faster growth
German injection moulder Oechsler (Ansbach; www.oechsler.com) is expanding its production capacity in Romania. The specialist for automotive and medical applications is adding another 4,000 m2 in production and logistics space to its facility in Lipova, located in western Romania. The EUR 2.5m investment will complement the existing plant at the site, and is due to start up in Q1 next year.

The investment sets the course for future growth in the local market, Oechsler said. Its Lipova facility specialises in the manufacture of precision plastic parts and complex assemblies, supplying customers from the automotive and industry segments. Oechsler Romania’s current workforce exceeds 200, and the company is planning to hire additional employees in the future.
