NPE 2018
US plastics fair set for record numbers / Exhibit space draw in March
The triennial US plastics fair, "NPE" (www.npe.org), will be held in Orlando, Florida, from 7-11 May 2018. NPE 2018: The Plastics Show, organised by the Plastics Industry Association (PLASTICS, Washington, DC / USA; www.plasticsindustry.org), already has more than 86,000 m2 of space requested and the number of committed companies is up 25% over 2014. Exhibitors can select booth space at the NPE 2018 Space Draw (www.npe.org/spacedraw) event, which takes place 20-22 March 2017 at the Rosen Shingle Creek Hotel & Conference Center in Orlando.
More than 2,000 suppliers, manufacturers and other companies servicing the plastics industry are expected to exhibit at the fair. In addition to the conference and educational programme, there will be an innovative show floor that includes the "Bottle Zone", "Additional Market Segment Zone" and "Re|focus Sustainability & Recycling Summit Zone", for companies interested in PET container manufacturing, trends and technologies in material science and recycling and sustainability, respectively.
PLASTICS, formerly SPI, expects that NPE in 2018 will be the largest yet. “We anticipate NPE 2018 will break the records we set in 2015 and continue to be a hub of innovation, technology and learning for the industry,” says William Carteaux, president and CEO of PLASTICS.
