Since 1 December 2002, the former Technoplast Engineering AG has been trading under the new name of Noventa Engineering AG (CH-9444 Diepoldsau; www.noventa.com). The new company´s corporate structure rests on the four pillars of design, engineering, manufacturing (injection moulding and modular component assembly) and customer service. As part of its new expansion course, the new enterprise took over the majority of the shares in Sieber Klaus Werkzeugbau GmbH (CH-9443 Widnau) at the beginning of 2003. This is the onset of Noventa´s ambitious strategy with the aim of becoming “the leading provider of integrated services for the development and implementation of complex modular components and complete product systems” by 2007.

Formerly known for its core competence in injection moulded components for domestic appliances and sanitary equipment, the former supplier has now integrated mould making into its portfolio to enhance its economic value. The certified company with 150 employees and annual sales of EUR 27m was founded 1958 and became an independent corporation through a management buy-out in 1994. In addition to its headquarters in Switzerland, Noventa operates a facility in Murrhardt / Germany. Sieber Klaus has 12 employees and annual sales of EUR 1.3m.
