Canadian petrochemicals group Nova Chemicals (Calgary, Alberta; www.novachemicals.com) said it has selected US-based Tricon Energy (Houston, Texas; www.triconenergy.com) to be a branded distributor of its advanced Sclairtech technology and other high-performance resins in Europe.
The engagement is to begin in early 2023 and provide Europe-based customers expanded access to Nova Chemicals’ portfolio along with increased traceability, local sales and service, and technical support.
Tricon Energy partners with petrochemical and polymer producers to market and distribute a wide range of thermoplastics, including polyethylene, polypropylene, PVC, bottle-grade PET, and styrenics. The company has been recognised as one of the world leaders in chemicals distribution and offers a large range of its own products that are said to complement those from Nova.
Tricon Energy comprises four business units: Tricon Plastics, Tricon Dry Chemicals, Liquid Fuels and Dry Bulk division, and Raw Materials & Fertilizers division. Its plastics division has offices in Italy, Spain, Turkey, and Ukraine.
