Distribution of Polytives flow improver in Europe, UK, Turkey
German chemicals distributor Nordmann (Hamburg; www.nordmann.global) said it has begun a partnership with compatriot polymer additives supplier Polytives (Jena; www.polytives.com) to distribute the company’s bFI universal processing aid in Europe, Turkey, and the UK.

The bFI additive is a patented and polymer-based material that can be used in almost all conventional polymers as a flow improver. It is designed to reduce melt viscosity, which allows for significantly lower processing temperatures during injection moulding, extrusion, and other techniques. The pressure and temperature reduction can trim energy usage by up to 33%.

Polytives notes that its additive can increase output by 50% and shorten production times by up to 48% without compromising the properties of finished polymers, even at high dosage levels.
