Distributing Stepan's polyester polyols across Scandinavia / Germany and Austria to be added next year
With immediate effect, German distributor Nordmann, Rassmann (NRC, Hamburg; www.nrc.de) will be marketing Stepan’s (Northfield, Illinois / USA; www.stepan.com) “Stepanpol” polyester polyols across Scandinavia. Distribution will be handled by NRC subsidiary Kemi-Intressen (Solna / Sweden; www.kemiintressen.com). The agreement will be expanded to Germany and Austria on 1 January 2015.
Under the terms of the agreement, NRC will be marketing Stepanpol aliphatic polyester polyols as well as aromatic polyester polyols, used among others in liquid and hot melt urethane adhesives, cast elastomers, thermoplastic polyurethanes as well as cure surface coatings.
Stepan produces the Stepanpol range at its plant in Brzeg Dolny / Poland as well as its facility in Columbus, Ohio / USA, which it acquired from Bayer MaterialScience (BMS, Leverkusen / Germany; www.bayerbms.com) last year (see Plasteurope.com of 03.05.2013).
