Thermoplastics resin distributor Nexeo Plastics (The Woodlands, Texas / USA; www.nexeoplastics.com) has announced the appointment of Paul Tayler as its new CEO, effective 1 September 2020. Interim CEO Michael Modak will transition his responsibilities to his replacement and remain a member of the company’s board of directors, Nexeo said in a statement.

Starting in 2018, Tayler served as the company’s head of EMEA. Before that, he worked for nine years at DSM’s (Heerlen / The Netherlands; www.dsm.com) engineering plastics division, which included a stint as the commercial vice-president for the Asia-Pacific region, before taking a position as vice-president of global sales at Innovia Films (Wigton / UK; www.innoviafilms.com). “I am thrilled to be leading Nexeo Plastics at such a dynamic time in the company’s evolution,” Tayler said.
