Injection mould machinery maker lifts short-time working
Starting 1 November 2009, injection mould machinery maker Netstal (Näfels / Switzerland; www.netstal.com) will lift the short-time working introduced in February – see Plasteurope.com of 22.05.2009. The measures had affected 200 of the 500 employees working at company headquarters. Since the emergency measure was first introduced, the manufacturer has been forced to axe about 80 positions.

Netstal, a part of the KraussMaffei group (KM, Munich / Germany; www.kraussmaffei.com), said the return to normal working hours was linked to several large orders placed in the summer.
