Takeover by Sacmi Group finalised
HPS, holding company of Sacmi Group (Imola / Italy; www.sacmi.com) is close to completing its takeover of group company Negri Bossi (Monzese / Italy; www.negribossi.it). It has taken its shareholding in the injection moulding machinery manufacturer to over 95%, allowing it to exercise its right to acquire all outstanding shares and take control of the company – see Plasteurope.com of 04.02.2009. The takeover is expected to be concluded on 15 May 2009, when Negri Bossi shares will be removed from the Milan stock exchange and the company will return to private ownership.
