NEGRI BOSSI
Losses reduced in 2006
Leading Italian injection moulding machine manufacturer Negri Bossi (Cologno Monzese, Milan / Italy; www.negribossi.com) increased sales in 2006 by 12% to EUR 110m. EBITDA moved just into the black, while the EBIT deficit was cut from EUR 11.3m to EUR 1.8m. The company posted a net loss of EUR 5.9m (EUR 8.2m loss in 2005). Debts were reduced from EUR 64m to EUR 38m, due in part to a share issue in December 2006. CEO Eugenio Ferragina commented on the results, saying the company was making good progress in its aim to become a complete systems supplier – see Plasteurope.com Web of 06.03.2006.
