Plans for new film facility in Poland
German thermoforming and packaging specialist Multivac Sepp Hagenmüller (Wolfertschwenden; www.multivac.com) has announced plans to expand its business activities in Poland. Speaking to Plasteurope.com, a company spokeswoman confirmed local media reports, according to which subsidiary Multivac Spzoo (Natalin / Poland) in future will also process films. To be able to do so, the group is investing about PLN 7.5m (EUR 1.7m) in a new 2,000 m2 plant, to be located in Mielec’s special economic zone. The facility is due for completion in 2013. Once it comes on stream, Multivac plans to hire at least 20 new employees.
