MSK Group (Ylihärmä / Finland; www.mskgroup.fi) is planning to build a new production plant for utility vehicle cabins in Slovakia. The facility will be built in Sabinov, around 10 km from the company’s existing plant in Lipany. Work is due to start in spring 2020, said CEO Timo Lehtioja. To begin with, an assembly hall, coating hall and warehouse will be built. Production in the new facilities is planned to be launched in early 2021. At a later time, the welding plant and other activities from Lipany will relocate to the new site.

The Sabinov plant is to supply Central European markets, while Scandinavia will be covered from the group’s headquarters in Ylihärmä. Its plastics processing subsidiary MSK Plast is also located in Finland.
