Moretto (Massanzago / Italy; www.moretto.com), a manufacturer of automation systems for plastics processors, has opened three new branches in China, India and Russia. The company says the three branches respond to the need to be closer to local processors and that each office has staff and technicians equipped with dedicated vehicles and equipment. It can offer the Far East its range of auxiliary equipment and automation systems for feeding, conveying, dosing, drying, storage, grinding, thermoregulation and refrigeration.

Of the three countries, Moretto says that China is a market with growing production that has both technological and automation needs, while India is attractive for economic activities around the world, with an exponential growth in GDP. Russia shows growth in applications for plastics and is a market in which the company plans to double its sales volume – Moretto reported first-half 2017 results here with a 35% increase compared to the total amount for 2016.
