Mondi (Vienna / Austria; www.mondigroup.com) and Werner & Mertz (Mainz / Germany; www.werner-mertz.de) will introduce two-layer, flexible packaging for the latter’s cleaning agent "Frosch" brand, to be released in 2019.
The packaging – a patented pouch – is made purely from polyethylene mono-material and is free from adhesives. The spout and screw caps are also made from PE. The pouch’s first layer is like an "outer garment" – where the label is printed on the front and customer information on the back – and is easily detachable for recycling. The pouch itself is free of printing or colours as well as glue or adhesives.
