K 2010: New "C-Fit" moulding technology introduced / Less clamping force and savings in material and energy
Momexx Mould Making Experts (Nieuwkuijk / The Netherlands; www.momexx.nl) has introduced a moulding technology that it claims reduces clamping force and leads to significant savings in material and energy usage and cycle times.

The company says its “C-Fit” technology can be used on all injection moulding machines to produce lighter plastic products with thinner walls, reducing material use and waste. In addition, Momexx says that savings in material of 10% to 50% are possible and cycle times can be reduced by between 10% and 60%.
