US speciality chemicals manufacturer Momentive Performance Materials (Albany, New York; www.momentive.com) is to expand its technology centre in Seoul / South Korea, to establish a global innovation centre focused on the electronics industry. The facility will combine existing technical laboratories with application development, research and development, testing and manufacturing operations.

The centre will focus on the development of materials and solutions for display, LED and OLED applications and will strengthen Momentive’s presence in the region. At 1,500 m², the centre is based in the Gasan Digital Complex, Seoul. The expansion is expected to be completed in June.
