Construction of PET reclaim plant in Upper Austria

Mission PET (Leonding, Austria; www.mission-pet.at) says it has been building a PET recycling plant in Feldkirchen in Upper Austria since August, and the new building should be ready in the spring of 2023.

At the 5,600 m² site, the company plans for a recyclate production capacity of 14,000 t/y from processing pre-sorted and shredded PET bottles. The plant is expected to create 20 jobs.

Mission PET is managed by Markus Huemer and Daniel Pichler, former employees of the recycling machine maker Next Generation Recyclingmaschinen (NGR, Feldkirchen; www.ngr.at). Investors Matthias Mayer and Zellinger Beteiligungare said to be on board as shareholders.
