Milacron (Cincinatti, Ohio / USA; www.milacron.com), a manufacturer and supplier of plastics processing machines, has set up a direct sales and service infrastructure for the Benelux market, following the end of its business relationship with Ferromatik Milacron Benelux – see Plasteurope.com of 07.06.2016. The new setup has been in place since 1 January 2017.

The dedicated resources, which feature a local technical services team and a direct service hot line, are part of Milacron’s ongoing global expansion strategy and continued strengthening of local services across Europe. The company said the move is based on a solid plan for closer customer interaction and enhanced services and support levels to its overall European customer base.

“This is a very important step for Milacron in Europe. We successfully introduced our direct presence in Italy and a number of other European markets just recently and are thrilled about this new setup for the Benelux,” said Denis Poelman, managing director of Milacron’s European injection moulding machinery business. As well as its entire product and service portfolio, the Benelux market will also be offered Milacron’s new "Magna T Servo" all-purpose injection moulding machine, the "Elektron Evo" all-electric machine series as well as the recently introduced linear standard robot solutions.
