New TPU grades for the automotive industry
Polyurethane specialist Merquinsa (Montmeló, Barcelona / Spain; www.merquinsa.com) will introduce two new aliphatic TPU compounds in the "Pearlthane" family at the Fakuma trade fair (17-21 October 2006). "D91T85" is a granular product for injection moulding which, due to its aliphatic structure, produces parts with good non-yellowing properties, the company claims. "D95N85P" has been specially developed for decorative skins in car interiors. It is designed for applications calling for high elasticity and low temperature performance.
