Danish compounder Melitek (Nørre Alslev; www.melitek.com) has announced plans to increase the storage capacity at its headquarters in Nørre Alslev. Construction of a 2,000 m² storage warehouse has already begun and is expected to be completed in May 2021; plans include a second warehouse for which the company has apparently not yet broken ground. Melitek said it expects the expansions to add some 1,800 t of storage capacity for raw materials.

The Danish company produces compounds for medical technology and pharmaceutical packaging based on TPE, polyolefins and other plastics. Its brands include “Meliflex XR”, “Meliflex XP” and “Meliflex XC”.
