Americas integration complete after US acquisition / Customers benefit from complementary capabilities
Swiss pump and pelletising systems manufacturer Maag (Zurich; www.maag.com) has completed its integration in the Americas, following its acquisition last November of Reduction Engineering Scheer in the US. Both companies' brands – "Maag Automatik", "Gala Industries" and Reduction Engineering Scheer – are now aligned within Maag Americas.
The move, said Maag, will give its polymer customers in North and South America a consolidated network of local sales and service support, a broadened portfolio as well as expanded testing and system solution capabilities.
Production and customer process testing is available at its sites in Roanoke and Eagle Rock, Virginia, and in Kent, Ohio. Sales and engineering offices are located in the US states of North Carolina, Ohio and Virginia, and São Paulo in Brazil.
Maag Americas’ general manager Lawrence Rentz said Maag, Gala and Reduction Engineering Scheer have extremely complementary strengths, which now result in strong benefits to its customers.
