Swedish masterbatch production site earns zero pellet loss certification
US polyolefin group LyondellBasell (LYB, Houston, Texas; www.lyb.com) announced that its colour masterbatch production site in Astorp, Sweden, has been certified under the Operation Clean Sweep (OCS; www.opcleansweep.org) scheme.

OCS certification of the Astorp facility is the result of an extensive third-party audit and marks the first OCS Europe-certified site in the Nordics, LyondellBasell said.
The international programme is designed to help companies in the plastics industry prevent pellet, flake, and powder loss during the production, transportation, and handling of plastics.
