Ken Lane to become executive VP of Global Olefins & Polyolefins

LyondellBasell (LYB, Houston, Texas / USA; www.lyondellbasell.com) has named Ken Lane to become the executive vice president of Global Olefins & Polyolefins on 15 July 2019. He will be based in Houston and responsible for O&P Americas and O&P Europe Asia International (EAI), reporting to CEO Bob Patel.
Lane formerly held several positions at BASF, including president of the monomers division, president of Catalysts and group VP and head of global strategic marketing for the PU division – see Plasteurope.com of 08.04.2009. Prior to working at BASF, he was at BP Chemicals.
