As the search for a new owner continues (see Plasteurope.com of 07.11.2017), Linpac Packaging (Featherstone / UK; www.linpac.com) is proceeding with a number of appointments aimed at supporting its sustainable business strategy and securing future growth. Shortly before the end of last year, Lubna Edwards was appointed director of Sustainability at the packaging group, charged with developing and implementing Linpac’s sustainability strategy to address matters like carbon reduction and food waste. Edwards previously held similar roles at Sealed Air and Diversey.
Also joining the company is Martine Brisset, the new managing director of Linpac’s Films business. Having previously worked at Huhtamaki and Amcor, Brisset has been tasked with strengthening the company’s existing partnerships and forging new ones.
Also part of the personnel reshuffle is Ana Fernandez, who has been promoted to director of Innovation. She succeeds Alan Davey, who is going into retirement. Fernandez previously held several innovation-led roles within Linpac.
