PolySource to sell high-performance compounds in North America

German distributor and compounder Lehmann & Voss (Lehvoss, Hamburg; www.lehvoss.de) and US distributor PolySource (Kansas City, Missouri; www.polysource.net) have announced an agreement under which the latter plans to take over the sale of the former’s high-performance thermoplastic compounds in North America.

The agreement is effective immediately and includes wear- and friction-optimised compounds, PFAS-free solutions, PEEK-based formulations, electrically and thermally conductive plastics, and high-performance engineering materials.

Lehvoss compounds are based on almost all available thermoplastics, from polypropylene and polyamides to ABS, PBT, PPA, PPS, PEI, PEEK, PEKK, and TPI.
In 2024, the Hamburg-based group reported sales of EUR 449 mn with 649 employees.
