German compounder and distributor Lehmann & Voss (LuV, Hamburg; www.lehvoss.de) said it plans to open a fourth subsidiary in China to serve increasing demand there.

Lehvoss (Shanghai) Chemical Shenzhen will market the company’s Luvocom high-performance compounds, Luvotech technical plastics, and its 3D printing materials and masterbatches, the parent firm said.

The Shenzhen branch joins the company’s existing operations in the country, which include local headquarters in Shanghai, a production site and technology centre in Kunshan, and a representative office in Dalian. In recent years LuV added compounding lines at sites in Germany, China, and the US (see Plasteurope.com of 11.10.2018).
