German compounder sets up representative office in South Korea
In the latest step in its internationalisation strategy, German compounder and distributor Lehmann & Voss (LuV, Hamburg; www.lehvoss.de/eng) in May established a representative office in South Korea. Lehvoss Korea will cater to the electronics and automotive sector on the peninsula, two fields that are central to the country’s economy.
The German company has been steadily enlarging its international footprint. In February last year it set up its third base in China (see Plasteurope.com of 07.02.2014), while in September it acquired a majority stake in US-based Performance Compounding (Pawcatuck, Connecticut; www.performancecompounding.com) – see Plasteurope.com of 16.09.2014.
