Agreement with Chinese producer to promote TVPs in Europe / Materials for range of applications in auto industry
The "Luvomaxx" business unit of German compounder and distributor Lehmann & Voss (LuV, Hamburg; www.lehvoss.de/eng) has entered an agreement with Shandong Dawn Polymer (Longkou / China; www.dawnprene.com/en) to exclusively market its “Dawnprene” brand of thermoplastic vulcanisates (TPV) for the automotive industry in Europe.
Shandong Dawn Polymer has ISO/TS16949 certification and supplies a broad range of TVPs for extrusion, injection moulding, moulded parts and cable manufacture. The company’s portfolio offers a wide selection with varying of hardness in carbon-black-filled grades, in natural colour or with pigmentation to customer specification.
The company said the materials meet the requirements typically placed on rubber blends, including heat resistance and low compression set characteristics, but can be used on conventional plastics processing equipment and present no difficulties in recycling. The company added it currently supplies OEMs of prominent car manufacturers in their Asian production facilities.
