German chemical company Lehmann & Voss (Hamburg; www.lehvoss.de) has introduced a new range of colourful carbon fibre-reinforced thermoplastics under the brand name “Luvocom”. Until now, carbon fibre-reinforced compounds only had been available in black, the company said, adding that the new colourful materials would make it easier to differentiate materials that seem similar but consist of different base polymers.
