Dubai subsidiary strengthens presence in Middle East
German speciality chemicals group Lanxess (Leverkusen; www.lanxess.com) has established Lanxess Middle East (Dubai / UAE; www.lanxess.ae) to service its clients in the area.
The company presently supplies customers in the Middle East primarily with plastics and rubbers, speciality chemicals and colour pigments for the construction industry. The managing director of the new company is Elie Saad, who has previously held various positions in the group and was most recently head of the global polymer additives business in Lanxess’ functional chemicals business unit.
