Messe Düsseldorf (www.messe-duesseldorf.com), organiser of the K 2025, is preparing for the leading international trade fair for the plastics and rubber industry. Taking place in Düsseldorf, Germany, from 8 to 15 October 2025, the event will focus on the theme, The Power of Plastics! Green – Smart – Responsible, highlighting the sector’s commitment to sustainability, innovation, and global collaboration. The organiser reports that fairgrounds are fully booked, with more than 3,000 exhibitors from 61 countries set to occupy 18 halls. These participants represent the entire plastics and rubber value chain, showcasing cutting-edge solutions and addressing the industry’s most pressing challenges.

The exhibitor database is now live, providing comprehensive information on participants and their offerings. Alongside event details, the K website features resources such as K-Mag, an online magazine delivering industry news, trends, and insights year-round, and K-monthly, a newsletter offering updates on K 2025 and related trade fairs.

Towards Zero, where start-ups can pitch their businesses, is also set to take place at the K this year, on 13 October at the fairground. “Start-ups whose innovations and technologies, solutions or new business models contribute to a circular economy with plastics, to the defossilisation of the plastics industry or to the reduction of so-called Scope 3 emissions can apply now until 1 March 2025," the organisers said.
