KRONES
Good business in first half of 2006
With double-digit growth rates for sales and incoming orders, Germany´s Krones (Neutraubling; www.krones.de), which claims to be world market leader for beverage filling and packaging machines, reported continued good business development for the first half of 2006. Sales rose 12.1% compared with the 2005 period to EUR 920.4m. Incoming orders were up 12.4% to EUR 941.9m. EBIT was also much improved, growing by 12.3% to EUR 59.5m.
