Self-cleaning filters simplify film production from rPET
Kreyenborg (Münster / Germany; www.kreyenborg.de) has simplified the production of PET flat films from recycled waste products (rPET) through the application of its backflush filtration screen changers, which it claims can maintain product quality in a one-step process even with high levels of rPET raw materials.

The company produces modular discharge units consisting of melt pumps and piston screen changers that are self cleaning, and provide homogeneous melt quality and pressure consistency for film extrusion.
