At machine manufacturer KraussMaffei (Munich / Germany; www.kraussmaffei.com), Bharat Sharma has been the new head of Asia-Pacific region (excluding China), based in Singapore, since 1 January 2021. In this role, he is responsible for both the new machine business and digital & service solutions.

The new regional manager will report to Nadine Despineux, executive VP of KraussMaffei Group’s digital & service solutions division. “We are delighted to welcome Bharat Sharma to KraussMaffei. Bharat Sharma has many years of extensive experience in the management of international sales organisations, in business development as well as in the conception and implementation of sales strategies,” says Despineux, and adds, “He brings his technical expertise and management qualities to KraussMaffei.”

Sharma comes to the plastics machinery manufacturer from Honeywell Process Solutions (HPS; Bracknell / UK; www.honeywellprocess.com), where he was most recently business manager APAC for control systems and field devices. Previously, he held management positions at Honeywell and a number of other multinational companies.
