Klaus Zeiler has been appointed the new head of the Logistics/Packaging unit at plastics machinery producer KraussMaffei (KM, Munich / Germany; www.kraussmaffei.com). He succeeds Emilio Lopez, who has been named area sales manager for the Ibero-America region and will focus on expanding sales activities for the KraussMaffei and Netstal brands across Latin America.

Lopez and Zeiler in 2013 set up the Log/Pack business, which Lopez has headed until now. Under Zeiler’s leadership, the business is expected to continue the global rollout of large and transportation packaging, including for logistics applications.

KraussMaffei was acquired by China National Chemical Corporation (ChemChina, Beijing / China; www.chemchina.com.cn) in January this year (see Plasteurope.com of 11.01.2016).
