In appointments that take effect immediately, KraussMaffei Group (KM, Munich / Germany; www.kraussmaffei.com) has made three changes in key sales and services positions for its injection moulding segment in Germany and China. Frank Dalhaus will succeed Reinhardt Rühmer as head of the group’s sales and services centre in north-west Germany. Rühmer will retire in mid-2016. Dalhaus most recently served as key account manager at KM’s Automotive unit. A fellow key account manager at the Automotive business, Manuel von Varchmin has been put in charge of the sales and services centre in south-eastern Germany. He succeeds Timo Günzel, who has taken over several new responsibilities in the machinery producer’s injection moulding technology business. The sales and services centre south-east Germany will also receive a new service head. Markus Greinwald joins the location after having spent several years for KM in China.
Hans Ulrich Golz, president of KM’s injection moulding business, said the German market remains important for the group, adding that the new appointments are aimed at further raising its market share.
The German company is also strengthening its sales activities further afield, by appointing Jörg Wittgrebe as new sales director of injection moulding and automation at its Chinese subsidiary. Wittgrebe most recently worked as key account manager in KM’s Automotive unit. The group has been producing its “MX” series of injection moulding machines in Haiyan / China since 2012. Last year KM commissioned a second production hall at the site (see Plasteurope.com of 29.04.2014).
