KRAUSSMAFFEI BERSTORFF
Two large extrusion line orders from Egypt
As 2009 is drawing to a close, KraussMaffei Berstorff (Hannover / Germany; www.berstorff.com), the extrusion division of plastics processing machinery producer KraussMaffei (KM, Munich / Germany; www.kraussmaffei.com), has been able to land two more large orders from Egypt. Existing client Al Amal (Cairo / Egypt; www.alamalplasticpipes.com), which already runs a KM pelletizing system, has ordered six extrusion lines for the production of U-PVC, C-PVC and PP-R pipes. KraussMaffei says it already has shipped the first lines with the remainder scheduled for delivery early next year.

The second order, for four KM Berstorff PVC pipe extrusion lines, was placed by United for Developed Industries (UDI), a subsidiary of Lasheen Plastic Industries (Cairo / Egypt; www.lasheen.com).
