KRAHN CHEMIE
Agreement with Mitsubishi Chemical Europe / Distribution of bio-based polyol in Benelux

German distributor Krahn Chemie (Hamburg; www.krahn.eu) has taken over the distribution of certain products of chemical group Mitsubishi Chemical Europe (Düsseldorf, Germany; www.m-chemical.co.jp/en) in Belgium, the Netherlands, and Luxembourg. The agreement is effective immediately and covers Benebiol, a biomass-based polycarbonate diol, and BioPTMG, a polyol produced from bio-based raw materials.

Both types are used for various polyurethane applications, including sealants, TPUs, elastomers, fibres, and adhesives. Typical areas of application are consumer goods, automotive and E&E industries, as well as functional textiles.
