Erik Hodenpijl has been appointed CEO of thermoforming tools specialist Bosch Sprang (Sprang-Capelle / The Netherlands; www.boschsprang.nl). He succeeded Rob Smeulders on 1 January 2018. Hodenpijl has been working for the company since 1 April 2017 as CIO (A. I.).
Bosch Sprang has been part of Kiefel (Freilassing / Germany; www.kiefel.com) since March 2016, and belongs to the Brückner Group (Siegsdorf / Germany; www.brueckner.com). In 2017, Kiefel and Bosch Sprang introduced a jointly-developed process for making thermoformed PP coffee capsules – see Plasteurope.com of 04.09.2017.
