With effect as of January 2003, Kiefel GmbH (D-83395 Freilassing; www.kiefel.de) is acquiring the cup-forming machinery product division of Greiner Mould & Machinery, a profit centre of greiner packaging international (A-4550 Kremsmünster; www.greiner-gpi.com). Kiefel will thus be supplying three sizes of cup-forming machines in future. In addition to this, the company, which forms part of the Renolit Group (D-67547 Worms; www.renolit.de), will market Greiner cup moulds and automation units outside of Europe on an exclusive basis. Within Europe, Greiner is developing a direct marketing system for moulds and ancillary equipment. The cup-forming machines will still be produced and marketed at the Micheldorf location in Austria.
