Kautex Maschinenbau (Bonn / Germany; www.kautex-group.com) is extending its headquarters in Bonn to cope with the growing demand for suction blow moulding machines and all-electric packaging machines. In a new assembly shop, with a surface area of some 5,000 m², the company will be assembling and testing KKB packaging machines and KSB suction blow moulding machines as of the third quarter of 2017. The ground-breaking ceremony was held on 15 February.
Kautex is also expanding internationally. The specialist for extrusion blow moulding machines is currently setting up a new service subsidiary in the Russian capital, Moscow, and a spare parts warehouse in St. Petersburg. The company then intends to offer better delivery processes as of the spring. Customers will be able to purchase spare parts in their national currency, for example. With 460 employees in Germany and a further 170 worldwide, Kautex achieved record sales of EUR 122m in the past business year.
