KAUTEX MASCHINENBAU
Larger plant commissioned in China / More capacity for bigger blowmoulding machines
German machinery manufacturer Kautex Maschinenbau (Bonn; www.kautex-group.com) will commission a new plant in Shunde, Guangdong / China in mid-March 2013. The new site gives the blowmoulding machinery manufacturer more room than its other plant, located just a few kilometres away. Commenting on the new facility, Gouliang Du, president of Shunde Kautex Plastics Technology, said the old plant no longer met company needs, adding that its appearance also failed to convey the quality of Kautex products.

The new plant will raise the group’s capacity from an existing 30 machines each year to between 40-50 units per year – consisting mostly of the popular multilayer and multicavity models. Kautex employs 115 workers in Shunde.
