“Arpro” grade launched with 15% recycled content
Plastic foams producer JSP International, (Tokyo / Japan; www.jsp.com) has introduced a version of its “Arpro” expandable polypropylene (EPP) containing 15% recycled product. The company said the new variant has the same properties and moulding characteristics as existing products at like-for-like densities. JSP will not increase the price of the product to reflect the additional costs of using recycled content, but says it will subsidise the material’s cost in the near term. The company is establishing collection points for post-consumer “Arpro” parts across Europe with product qualification information to be issued shortly.
