Eric Pierrejean is composites fair organiser's new CEO / Frédérique Mutel promoted to officer in French order of "Légion d'honneur"

Frédérique Mutel, former CEO of the JEC Group (www.jeccomposites.com) – the organiser of the world's leading composites trade fair "JEC World" – was promoted to the rank of officer in the order of the French "Legion of Honour" (Ordre national de la Légion d'honneur) in July 2018. According to a statement, from when she joined JEC in 1997 until today, she has made a significant contribution to the international exposure of the composites industry.
The Légion d'honneur is the highest award for civil merits given in France. Mutel, who also worked for companies such as Dassault, Accenture and Thales before joining JEC, was appointed knight of the Légion d'honneur, the initial of five levels of the award, in 1999.

Eric Pierrejean has recently succeeded Mutel as JEC's new CEO. He was former managing director of trade fair organiser Comexposium (Paris / France; www.comexposium.com). Among other positions, he previously worked in marketing at Peugeot Citroën.
