There’s been a change at the executive level of Industrieverband Kunststoffbahnen – IVK Europe (Frankfurt / Germany; www.ivk-europe.com), the industry association of companies producing sheets made of plastics and caoutchouc: Marina Arz was appointed managing director on 1 April 2021. The 30-year-old succeeds her mother, Karin Arz, who worked for the association for 21 years.
The political science graduate has already gained experience in political lobbying at the European Commission and at the state parliament of Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania in Germany. At the IVK, Marina Arz wants to promote, among other things, the association’s involvement in the EU initiative, “Circular Plastics Alliance”.
