Glass and polycarbonate glazing specialist to be sold to Sterling Square
According to the German antitrust authority, Bundeskartellamt, the investment firm Stirling Square Capital Partners (St. Helier / Jersey) is preparing a complete takeover of Finind Group (Este / Italy; www.finind.com). The group's main subsidiary is the sheet glass manufacturer Isoclima (Este / Italy; www.isoclima.net), who is known for its lightweight armoured glass made from glass/polycarbonate film laminates. The group does significant business with the automotive industry, but its products are also appreciated for aviation, railway, marine and in the world of architecture.
In addition to Isoclima, the company has a branch in Mexico and a subsidiary named Lipik Glas in Croatia.
